NGG Accoyo Antonius Stradivarius arrives to stand at ATC!

September 2nd, 2008

Stradivarius has arrived to stand at ATC for the Fall.  We are very excited about this newly acquired accoyo suri male.  We once saw Stradivarius when he was a yearling and thought very highly of him, however he was sold to someone else quickly, so recently we found ourselves with an opportunity to purchase 1/2 interest in him!  We are thrilled!  We cannot wait to breed him to some of our superb whites and our Accoyo Torbio & Accoyo Gold lines. We are offering limited breedings this fall to Stradivarius, so contact us for a breeding- these are wonderful bloodlines that are quite rare.  Accoyo Ganador has been an increible sire over the years and this is his best son!  We co-own him with Ray & Maria Rodriquez at Leraso Farms.

Summer Fun!

August 22nd, 2008

Summer has been great fun at The Alpaca Trading Company, as always.  The summer months pass by too quickly and much to much is planned. We are grateful we had some wonderful nights to spend outside watching over the alpacas grazing and the crias dashing around once the sun starts setting.   We had a wonderful Spring show season here at ATC.  Our breeding efforts paid off this season with one of the most important males being produced on our farm.  Legend’s Gold by Torbio won the two most competitive shows in the country- Color Champion at the Futurity & AOBA Nationals.  He won additional Championships as well.  We all know how tough the competition is at the two afore mentioned venues and it is with great honor that we display his show winnings at the farm.  He is now breeding and we are offering limited breedings to him this first year of service.  Call us to book a breeding!

Show season is about to begin!

February 27th, 2008

It seems hard to believe that show season is here again!  While Steph is staying home as we are expecting the birth of our son shortly, the doctor gave the OK for me to go to our first show of the season, The Southern Select in Shelbyville, TN.  I will just be taking a “light” trailer with 11 suri alpacas to show.  We are also participating in the live herdsire auction by donating a breeding to Torbio’s Accoyo Masterpiece for a worthy cause!
